Diverse Computing announces their continued partnership with Axon, a business unit of TASER International and the global leader in digital evidence management solutions with the leading body-worn camera. Our Criminal Justice Information Systems Audit and Compliance Experts (CJIS ACE) Division have an on-going partnership to provide real-world, law enforcement and criminal justice specific consulting expertise to Axon as they continue to develop product solutions for this unique community.
As more federal, state and local law enforcement and criminal justice agencies look to adopt innovative productivity and safety solutions, like those provided by TASER/Axon, the need to meet unique requirements like the FBI Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) Security Policy becomes increasingly important.
The CJIS Division of the FBI operates systems that provide state, local, and federal law enforcement and criminal justice agencies throughout the United States with access to criminal justice information including personal information such as fingerprint records, criminal histories, and sex offender registrations, among many others.
CJIS ACE is uniquely positioned to assist organizations that want to pursue compliance through the requirements and best practices described in the CJIS Security Policy.

Through this continued partnership, TASER/Axon will be able to pull from over 65 years of experience that the CJIS ACE team has with creating, implementing, and complying with the CJIS Security Policy in the criminal justice and law enforcement space. The combined experience of the CJIS ACE team includes that of the sworn law enforcement officer, executive police manager, CJIS Systems Officer, CJIS Information Security Officer, and FBI Advisory Policy Board Member, among many others.
One of the areas TASER and CJIS ACE will be working together on is advancing Evidence.com, Axon’s digital evidence management platform, within the criminal justice and law enforcement communities.
As the sources of digital evidence expand, storage alone isn’t enough to keep track of body-worn camera videos, photos, audio recordings, and other data that is overwhelming agency servers and systems. Axon’s Evidence.com offers a robust end-to-end solution for agencies to store all their electronic evidence data along with providing the workflows for managing and sharing that data.
